What it costs

The job leaves
your desk.

£149 a month, plus a one-off fee when you take someone on. We do the sourcing, the CSCS checks, the inductions and the chasing. You engage and pay your workers direct — no money passes through us, and nothing comes out of their day rate.

What you're paying for

The two hours you'd have spent
on the phone

Finding labour isn't hard. It's just slow, and it always lands on the person who has nine other things to do. The fee buys that job off you — same as an agency, for less.

We do the sourcing

Ringing round, checking who's actually free that week, and finding cover when the obvious names aren't available.

We check the cards

Every CSCS card is checked by hand against the official register before the name reaches you. Nobody turns up unverified.

We confirm them

Each worker is spoken to and confirmed for your dates and your rate. You get people who have already said yes, not a list of maybes.

We carry the dropouts

If someone pulls out at 6am, chasing the replacement is our problem to solve, not yours.

That's the whole product. A flat fee for the platform, and a one-off fee the first time you take someone on — never again for the same man, however long he stays.

Shown openly

What a year actually costs

Ten general labourers, five days a week, kept on for the year. An agency's margin grows every day they're on site. Ours stops after the first.

10 labourers · 1 year
Site Match vs an agency
Agency margin (£40 a day, every day) £92,000
Site Match (£149 a month, plus £150 a head once) £3,288
Difference £88,712
Illustrative, and worth checking against your own last invoice. The worker takes home the same either way — you pay him direct. What changes is that an agency charges you a margin for every day he's on site, and we charge once for finding him. Replace a few during the year and it's £150 each time.

What you pay

Two lines,
and that’s the lot

A flat fee for the platform, and a one-off fee the first time you take someone on. No margin per shift, no minimum spend, no contract. Anything marked “in build” isn’t finished — we won’t charge you for it until it is.

Platform access
£149/month

Everything switched on, all the time.

  • Verified labourers, cards checked by hand
  • Availability kept up to date
  • Crew sheets and who’s on site
  • Gate clock-in and attendance records
  • Digital inductions in build
  • Ticket expiry tracking in build
When you take someone on
£150per worker, once

Charged when he starts. Never again for the same man. Labouring roles are live now; skilled trades as we add them.

  • General labourer, traffic marshal — £150
  • Groundworker, dryliner, plant operator — £250
  • Bricklayer, carpenter, electrician — £350
  • Foreman or site manager — £600

You never pay twice for the same man. Take a labourer on in January and he’s still with you in December — you paid £150, once, back in January. An agency would have charged you a margin on every one of those days.

Our promises

Four things that
won't change

Labourers never pay. Ever.

No listing fees, no subscription, no commission. The worker is the one doing the work — they keep their rate.

The rate on the profile is the rate he gets

Our fee sits on top of the worker's rate and never comes out of it. If it's £140 on his profile, he gets £140.

Every charge itemised

You see the worker's rate and our fee as two separate lines. No percentage buried in a day rate, no invoice you have to reverse-engineer.

A no-show is our problem

If someone doesn't arrive we chase the replacement, not you — and you're never charged a placement fee for a man who didn't start.

Questions about money

Straight answers

So what do I actually pay?

Two things. £149 a month for the platform, and a one-off fee the first time you take a worker on — £150 for a general labourer, more for a skilled trade. Nothing per day, no minimum spend and no contract. You pay your workers their day rate directly, exactly as you would a subbie you found yourself.

Do I pay that fee every month he's on site?

No. The placement fee is charged once, when he starts, and never again for that man. If you take a labourer on in January and he's still with you the following Christmas, you paid £150 — in January. That's the whole difference between us and an agency.

Why am I paying when you're brand new?

Because the work is real whether we're new or not — someone still has to ring round, check the cards against the register and confirm the crew. And we're honest about what isn't finished: anything marked "in build" you aren't charged for, and you can cancel any time.

How is this cheaper than an agency?

An agency takes a margin on every worker, every day — typically £40 a day on a general labourer, and you never see the number. Over a three-month stretch that's around £3,000 for one man. We ask £150, once. On ten labourers kept for a year it's roughly £92,000 of agency margin against £3,288 with us. Illustrative figures — check them against your own last invoice.

Can I just browse your labourers and ring them myself?

You can browse. Every profile shows the trade, experience, area, day rate and whether the CSCS card has been verified — enough to decide who you want. The phone number comes with the booking, not before. That keeps workers' numbers out of general circulation, which is why they're willing to be on the list in the first place.

What stops me using someone again without you?

Nothing, and we wouldn't try to stop you — you engage them directly, so they're your workers, and we'd never charge you again for a man you've already got. What keeps people subscribed is everything after the introduction: verified tickets, inductions done before they arrive, and a record of who was on site and when. That's the part you can't take with you.

Is any of this coming out of the worker's pay?

No, and it never will. Workers pay nothing to be on Site Match and keep 100% of their day rate. Both fees are paid by the contractor and sit entirely separately — no money passes between us and the worker at all.

Do you handle payroll, CIS or insurance?

No. We never handle wages, PAYE, National Insurance or pensions — no money passes through us. You engage and pay your workers directly, and CIS and employment status sit between you and them exactly as they do with any subbie you take on today. What we give you is the paperwork trail: verified tickets, inductions and attendance records.
