Welcome to
Site Match

Birmingham main contractors, connected straight to CSCS-verified labourers. No agency in the middle.

CSCS checked by hand Answered the same day Birmingham and the West Midlands

What it is

A direct line between site and worker

Site Match is a labour marketplace built for one job: getting a Birmingham main contractor from "I need two labourers on Monday" to a confirmed crew on Monday — without ringing round, and without an agency margin buried in the rate.

How it works now

Contractor → Agency / subbie / group chat → Labourer

Slow, expensive and blind. You don't know who's free, you can't see their ticket, and someone in the middle is charging for the introduction.

How it works on Site Match

Contractor → Site Match → Verified labourer

Structured profiles you can filter, availability you can trust, CSCS status checked by hand — then straight to a phone number. The platform makes the introduction and gets out of the way.

Trust

CSCS verified means
somebody actually checked

Anyone can say they've got a card. On Site Match, a worker uploads a photo of theirs and it sits as Pending until it has been checked by hand against the official CSCS register. Only then does the profile carry a verified badge.

We never imply an upload is a verification, and we don't claim a worker's experience has been independently checked when it hasn't. The badge means one specific thing, and it means it honestly.

Step 1 Not uploaded

Worker builds a profile. No badge, nothing claimed.

Step 2 Pending review

Card photo uploaded to a private store. Only an admin can view it.

Step 3 CSCS Verified

Card number checked by hand against the official register, and the face on the card matched to the worker. Then the badge goes live.

Questions

Straight answers

Is this an agency?

No. An agency employs or supplies the worker and charges you a margin for it. Site Match is a marketplace — it helps you find each other and then gets out of the way. You deal with the labourer directly, on your terms.

What does "CSCS Verified" actually mean?

It means a person has looked at that worker's uploaded card and checked it against the official CSCS register. Until that's happened the profile shows "Pending" — we never dress an upload up as a verification.

Who can see a labourer's phone number?

Only the contractor who has booked them, once the crew is confirmed. Contractors can browse profiles — trade, experience, area, day rate, CSCS status — but numbers aren't part of that, so nobody can go fishing for them. CSCS card images are stored privately and can only be opened by an admin doing the verification.

What happens if a worker doesn't turn up?

Tell us. During launch we're tracking reliability manually — who turned up, who cancelled, who you'd have back. Once there's enough real activity that data becomes a reliability record on the profile. We're not going to fake a ratings system with five users on it.

Why only Birmingham, and only labourers?

A half-empty marketplace is worse than no marketplace. Starting with labouring roles in one city means that when a contractor asks for three labourers, there are actually three to send. Other trades and other cities come after that works.

Does it cost anything?

For labourers, never — it's free and it stays free, and nothing comes out of their day rate. Contractors pay £149 a month for the platform, plus a one-off fee the first time they take a worker on, starting at £150 for a general labourer. Nothing per day, no minimum spend, no contract, and never a second fee for the same man. You pay your workers directly; no money passes through us.

Can I use it for one-off cover?

That's exactly what it's built for. Send the order — trade, area, dates, how many — and we come back with the crew. One day or ten, no account manager, no minimum booking.

Get on before your competition does
